A BIT ABOUT ME
Hej!
Jeg hedder Cléo Charpantier (initials CBC, hence the header). I'm a junior at Occidental college in Los Angeles, where I am majoring in Philosophy. I grew up living in San Francisco and spending the summers in France.
I'm spending a semester abroad in Copenhagen with DIS.
While I am here, I will be taking five classes: Religious Mythos and Philosophical Logos (my core class), Kirekergaard's Authorship, Equality in Scandinavia: Developments and Challenges of the Welfare State, European Art of the 20th Century: From Expressionism to Post-War Art, and Danish Language and Culture. I am loving all of these classes, as they are perfectly suited to all my different interests- and I'm equally excited for all their upcoming field trips and travels.
I am living in the Visual Arts Living and Learning Community apartment, situated in the heart of old Copenhagen, with which I will be exploring the art scene in the city.
While in Copenhagen, I am excited to visit museums, bike around the city, walk in Kierkergaard's footsteps, learn some danish, eat nordic food, take some photographs, make new friends and create new memories!
I'll be blogging about my experiences here weekly and sharing plenty of photos. Thanks for reading along!
